40 yr old female discover breast mass during self exam2 month ago.she went to a physician who told her that all finding are normal.after some time she had mamography which shows a lump in it .pt begin wonder of her physician failed to notice the lump during exam 2 month ago ..she sue the phycian under which circumstances

1...occurence of breast ca

2...poor cumunication between pt and physician

3...potential financial reward for patient

4...strong pressure from family

I have choosen 2 but my performence in behavior sciences was very low ..so i think this is wrong...now i will go with 1..

anybody else?

my first guess wud be 1. actually.... Im not too sure, can apt sue a doctor for poor communication? any one else have any inputs?

i go with 1 most malpractice suits involve breast ca i feel it is not 2 b'cos it was not lack of communication rather a mistake or incompetence.please correct me if my ans is wrong

Go with 2...most lawsuits are as a result of poor patient-doc communication

I go with #2 since most will assume good pt/doc communication is easy, but in reality its almost a rare doc who has the time, saviness, know how, experience, effort and balanced kindly attitude to do this properly. (Surgeons are probably the worst)
