Hello to all! I hope this site can help me...Im an IMG batch 2000, took step 1 twice but failed, currently Im working as a medical assistant & was advised by one of our doctors to be a PA instead - he said, that way I'll go back to school & be re-exposed to the clinicals & if I decide to re-take the MLE's I can always take it in the future & that way I wont be wasting time...that really sound like a good plan till the other doctor in our practice advised that I re-take the MLE instead & pursue it till I succeed...Im confused...I really want to re-take the step 1 but now Im doubting what if I fail again? and if I'll be a PA - I have no idea where to start...I want to keep my options open & I feel like time is slipping away from me...I need a good advise PLEASE!!!
