can anyone explain LIPOPROTEIN LIPASE induced by insulin and activated by apoC II.. nduced and actiavted ??are the same?it means both acting at the same condition

induced and activated re different reet, induced means that the gene expression is being increased, but activated means that dephosphorylation occuring ok lets take an eg. for eg insulin induces glucokinase and activates pfk-1. it means here that insulin is causing the gene expression of this enzyme, whreas in case of pfk-1, insulin is dephosphorylating the enzyme

I agree with sturge_weber. When insulin induces glucokinase, it means insulin increases enzyme's synthesis so there is more glucokinase present in the cell. When insulin activates an enzyme, it means there is phoshorilation which makes that enzyme active (so there is no increase enzyme synthesis, but that enzyme which is already present is active)
