Hey guys,
ive been supported by this forum for as long as i can remember but i just signed up. Id like to thank BBB for your advice.
I am a FMG from bombay, did one year of clerkship in Indiana in Med, SUrg and OB.
Worked for a year as a research assistant in Knee arthritis at OHio state University.
worked as a mental health counselor for 6 months in Illinois.
Working as a medical assistant in a family practice center currently.
unable to get Psychiatry experience.
Green card.
Excellent LORS from American Physicians.
scores 75/76
My scores do not reflect my academic drive but at this point im so dissapointed because i still do not have any interviews in psychiatry. I thought my experience would add to the strenght of my application.
WHAT MORE CAN I DO TO GET INTERVIEWS?...

try to do some observership in psychiatry. what they see is , if ur really interested in psychiatry or are u using it as a back up.i am sure this shall help u
