I know everybody is busy with interviews and match and all that stuff. But i just want to do a very short and easy question. In regard to IMGs.
Does TOEFL make a difference?? i mean, if you pass it, you have a bonus or in real life it really doesnīt matter and doesnīt have any importance. I know itīs not a requirement anymore for ECFMG certification purposes.

well am applying for electives these days, and several programs require international students to have cleared TOEFL, so i took it yesterday and have scored somewhere b/w 217-270; but i don't know about research or externship ,whether they require or not, but to be on the safe side, you should take it ,because you never know!
however for residency purpose i really don't think it would make any difference!
