Kaplan won't be sufficient? Is it really necessary to study Goljan as well?

Yes that would be a good idea.Many ppl are doing that Kaplan + Goljan.

i think in addition to kaplan add BRS as i have taken advice about it from persons who have already passed the exam.

Well, I think its hard to get kaplan if you dont have their videos or audios (webprep)... again... this is what I think. I didnt like the kaplan pathology at all. Goljan is good, very easy and simple and exam oriented.
Sorry I dont have any experiece with BRS so really I cant tell.

Goljan is of course the gold standard. BRS Path would have to be second (since you cant read Robbins) and Kaplan for Path would be a distant ninth, I would think.
