dont learn this, try and understand

4th nerve, it generally intorts, when lesioned the patient will extort, so to look straight, he will turn the head to the opp side , ie away from the lesion

12 th nerve, it supplies the tongue and helps in movt, say the left side is lesioned, now the tongue on the right is stronger, hence hence the stronger right side will deviate the tongue o the left, ie the side of the lesione

5th nerve, supplies the jaw, lesion on the left, the musles on the right re stronger hence the jaw deviates to the left, ie the side of the lesion

10th nerve, supplies the uvula, both sides re trying to pull the uvula up, lesion on the left, uvula points away from the affected side.. well can someone explain this last uvula one it will be good, coz this is the only one i cant apply my explaination

Interesting thread...

A word of caution about tongue never lies.

Interestingly, "tongue Lies when it lies inside the mouth"!

Yes...if more often deviates to the same side when inside the mouth and to the opp side when protruded!
