Kaplan Qbank USMLE

Well i've been preparing for a while but only seriously for the last three weeks. So far i've read Cardiovascular, Renal, Pulmonary, Behavioural Science form High yield Once. I've read First Aid 2005 almost completely. still need to do Pharm and Physio although i think it would be a better read closer to the end when i know the concepts. Cramming from First Aid to me doesn't make sense as i forget it right after. As for questions i'm using the qbook. doing random blocks right now. not scoring very well at all. Questions are somewhat difficult. Also doing questions from Robbins Review book(Very good source of questions in my opinion). also doing questions from webpath, another good source of questions.

Today was going pretty well until lunch or so when i had some errands to run. Got to start bach at 6 pm. Will finish up cardiovascular lectures with goljan(Got 30 minutes or so to do again). Then will review BRS chapter. Planning to do questions from the qbank i downloaded on the net as there are a lot of cardiovascular questions already in sections. already did the questions in webpath. some were pretty challenging. will also do the questions in robbins review if i get the time. Well of i go to finish of cardiovascular once and for all.

Tomorrow i want to start CNS form the kaplan organ books. anyone knos if i should read High Yield neuroanatomy first or just go straight to kaplan. I also wnat to do the first 2-3 chapters in Katzung(pkarmacokinectics and pharmacodynamics). Well C u soon. Will keep posting interesting questions as i go along. Goodluck to all in their pursuit to ace the USMLE and to understanding medicine which will help make us better physicians..
