hi., i took my step 1 on oct 27. in the oasis it was mentioned that my
score was mailed on nov 23. when i am trying to fill the application
again it is being accepted.. is it sure that i have failed??
i read from the forums that now a days even if the students passed
their applis r being accepted.. is it true.. pls mail me if u have any
information.. i am feeling very tense.. i takes almost 15 days for the score report to reach our place.pls mail me ..

if on oasis your score is reported AND the date you took your exam is reported, then you should be able to go to www.ecfmg.org and click on te icon to electronically register for USMLE... When it asks you what you want to sign up for click step 1... if you passed it will say the following:
Our records indicate that you have already passed this Step or Step Component or the equivalent NBMEŽ Part. The USMLE Policy on Reexamination generally does not allow applicants to retake a Step or Step Component if they have already passed that Step or Step Component or the equivalent NBME Part. There are, however, certain exceptions to this policy:
That is Exactly what I did and what all my collegues did that passed... if you did not pass it will let you register... Sorry man... There is always hope... wait until your score comes... no need to get discouraged yet.. If I were you though, I would continue to study... :-/

hi njemt thanku for ur post and congrats as u scored 99.. i am feeling
very depressed after doing the oasis trick.. i can't bear this tension
for another 15 days.. By God's grace if some miracle happens i will be
very happy..
