Aren't delusions always false? Some info on a website had me believe otherwise. Please clarify.

I think so delusion are always false but its important that we differntiate it from superstition, blind belief.....
Delusion is false belief : "Firm belief opposed to reality but maintained in spite of strong evidence to the contrary."
A superstition is an irrational or invalid belief about the relation between certain actions (often behaviors) and other actions that is not true..it is followed by many people..a community

If a behavior is prevalent in a particular community we cannot say its a delusion...even though it fits in the definition of delusion
