I got my test result today. 82! It's discouraging. I hoped to make a compensation for step I result, whick was 76. Also, I had one failure Hx for step I. Of course, I'm IMG and additionally, 37 years old. I'm a otorhinolaryngologist but want take a residency in internal medicine. I don't know how slim my chance is. Should I carry on?

Gosh Of course. You already passed your exams!! You are waaayyy ahead than thousands of IMG's who can't pass the exam & can't afford to take the exam. Are you here in the US now ? If you are go ahead & do all the next steps in getting a residency. For sure.. you are smart bec. you passed the exams.... so carry on guy.. GL.

Yeah...I agree with Kerochi...u have invested so much already...both time and money...why not go that extra mile and see whats in store for you... You can always go back to being an otorhinolaryngologist if you don't like what ur getting but if you don't try ...u'll never know GL friend!

I also agree. We all have our 'down' moments. You're having one. Get over it, relax a little maybe, then get back on track. It's true, since you've already come this far, it's worth going the extra mile. Don't think too much; just go for it. Good luck.
