Hi Coolbabe76,
i just read on the forum that u have 7 interviews so far.well...so do I....i've been quite disappointed since i was expecting a few more.anyways...wat do u think r the chances of matching with 7 interviews?actually for me there wud be only 5 coz 2 of these programs donot give H1 visa.
wat abt u?do u need H1 or r u willing to settle for J1?
i'm just going crazy thinking i might not match this year with such few interviews.i have heard of people who match with only one call...but still that's too much to hope for...

we are in the same boat .as per my knowledge ,all my progs offer H 1
i dont want J 1 ,most definitely not.
about the chances of matching with these many calls,i wish i too had an answer. my friends tell me that with 7 the chance is reasonable.people have in the past matched with 3 or 4 too,
but it all depends on the way we tackle the inteviews now i feel.
there is no clear answer though i too am looking for some re assurances................

about the H1 visa...have u taken step 3 as yet?i will be taking it in feb.
also...r u planning on calling ur hospitals to find out whether they come under the H1 cap?

i have emailed all my progs.one of them said all NY state hospitals come under Not for profit banner .so they should be exempt from the h 1 cap.
