i scored 75 in step1 3rd attempt and 76 in step2CK 2nd attempt.I HAVE PASSED Step2CS.I want to do psy or ped. I am a FMG, who finished .5yrs ago. Ihave a green card, any hope 4 me?

u shud apply widely(and to less competitive progs...no offense) in psychiatry.u stand a chance...since u r certified and have a green card too.
have u applied anywhere till now?it's already late in the season to start now.

yes i`ve applied to about 38 programs so far and i have received 2 rejections, nothing else yet

I know many people with similar scores who received interviews in paeds. and were even offered pre-match or atleast matched.
Those who didn't matched entered university programs in competitive fields during the scramble!I guess everyone has his/her own destiny.......my advice is keep hope alive.....it will get you somewhere!GL.

i went to north general for IM....small hospital.mostly imgs.but v friendly ppl.looked like kinda place which doesnt put too much pressure on u.any hosp in NY is busy so thats a given.doesnt sponsor visa.area is ok,residents dont live there but its not too unsafe to work.i know this is IM but hope it helps.good luck
