can any one please answer this and help me out asap??
is the oasis trick only for those who filled in their application/ exam form online thru oasis or can it be also used by those who filled in the paper application form?? if , yes,, then i went to ecfmg.org -> clicked on oasis -> then it asks me my usmle id # n password.... what am i supposed to enter in place of password?
is it too early to try the oasis trick ..i gav the exam on 31st oct... please reply asap..

first time user---- check it on oasis page in ecfmg.org. ESTABLISH UR ACCOUNT THERE
if any prob persists,,do contact them thru email..

i did just that.... registered n established an account with them... they say ur password will be sent to you within 24 hrs.... but i suppose these 24hrs will seem to long... hope i can get through... thank u reet....  do u think if i directly go to IWA without checking whether my score has been reported on oasis ? just that i am a bit anxious...

its a noraml that u are a bit anxious,,but its better to wait fr 24 hours,,cuz until and unless ur oasis not updated--no use of checking out trick!!!!

hi,
i did register myself into oasis... i got anxious n then re-entered saying that i forgot my password....it sent me a password.... n then a new password coz i had said that i forgot the old password... now i am trying to register but it doesnot let me... says either u hav not been authenticated or u hav entered the incorrect password.... i tried with both the passwords they sent.. the old n the new one.... still the same reply....
can any one please adv......

the password is case sensitive, so be sure u fill out exactly the same

well, when we try the oasis trick after getting to know that our score has been reported, then we hav to fill in the form for step1 right n if we hav passed then , it rejects the application, right... but what if we have flunked, then it will accept the application right.... but if i dont want to submit the application, coz i am not sure if i want to give it again? i am just filling in the form to try the oasis trick ..... what shud i do?? n do we hav to enter credit card details for payment during filling up of the application?? plz help

neo: Sometimes the trick doesnt work and it will let you register all the way to the end, even if you have passed. No, you dont have to fill out credit card info (you can close the application), if you get to that point and your scores have been reported according to oasis, them you need to wait for actual letter to see what really happened, wether you passed or not. I know the waiting is tough, but hang in there!! Wish you the best of lucks!
