i m an img. i knw i m not suppose to b here as i m not asking on cs exam . but i need help from all of u! i hv failed twice in step1 . as u all must hv appliedaround so u knw better on this.

plz plz can sme tell me what r my chances to get a resid now ? i mean an img , failed twice that too in step1 !

is there an chance at all or should i just leave the idea of usmle & go back home?

plz pl z can sme1 help me , plz as i really dont knw what to do now!!

You will find a resid. position but not in a prestigious hospital and not in a competitive specialty [like opthalmology, med oncology etc]

do u think its possible to get there !i mean do u think theer is a pt to try again? do i hv a future in usa ??????

what is best rt now ? do i take up liveprep kind of thing ,or try again on my own?plzplz advise me as i cant decide really!

as far as i know psych is not too competitive. But you must know that nobody assures you that youīll find that position you are looking for. You can try it!. Just try to not fail anymore in the next steps you do. I think you must change your study methods because they havenīt worked, change your strategy, other books maybe. You could try a kaplan course, perhaps. Thatīs only my opinion.

thats what i plan rt now , to change my strategy!

what kind of kaplan course would b good ? live prep kind or smething else?

also is trying to get pscy hv not a good br. i mean is there no future in it?

as u all knw it better , than i do r now , can sme1 help me on this , IS TRYING A BR LIKE PSCY NOT GOOD! IS THERE NO SCOPE IN THE LONG RUN!

Make Step 2 your strong foucs now. Prepare very well ofr Step 2 CK and even if you have to spend extra cash but aim high very high. Some programs might "overlook" your Step 1 history and some programs prefer Step 2 CK for their reviewing.
