how many progs can one applicant rank?
also what is the max number of candidates a program can rank?
or is there no limit?

anyone?...bbb?

This is something that happens away from the program - I would never have access to a rank list by applicants.

but how many candidates do you rank?
i mean ,if you interviewd 60 ppl for 5 positions ,how long will your rank list be?
this is just for me to get an idea

ye coolbabe 76, this is really good- to know .. thus indirectly we may assess our chances in particular programs

FREIDA - describes that last yr there were conducted 100-150 interv in average for 15-20 spots. But still we dont know how many do they rank. That's why they try sign pre-matches and then rank reasonable # , let's say 5-10 people more than spots, i.e - ~30 applicants for 20 spots.Being ~ 5 people pre-matched(" the 5 erxtra-ordinary applic") .That's what I think.. I mean they probably won't rank 60 applicants for 15 spots.

Any comments?

Anyway - our luck is partially in our hands - the interview!

i hope others would throw more light on this issue.....

It's going to vary from year to year. No set number that we are going to rank - it's just depending on the applicants performance during the interview.
