Pentose phosphate pathway is characterized for all following EXCEPT. A- It's major regulatory enzyme is glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase. B- 2 NADPH are generate per hexose phosphate in the oxidative segment. C- The end product are 2 moles of glucose 6 phosphate, 1 mole of glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate. D- It's inhibited by NADH.

I think D is correct... transketolase transforms ribose 5p into glyceraldehide or F 1,6 BP... NADH is not involved in HMP shunt.. I think that explains it.. Regards

oops didnt read two moles of glucose of C.. Now Im confused.. Which one is right?

Are you sure option D is NADH and not NADPH?

i agree with mazinger. at D must be NADPH. C is definitely not correct.
