which of the following is true of cytokines? A-Transforming groth factor-B enhances B cellproliferation and suppresses secretion of inflammation mediators B-TNF-alpha is secreted by macrophages. C-Interferon -B has antiviral activity and inhibits MHC Class 1 expression. D-TNF-Bis secreted by bone marrow stromal cells. E-TNF stimulate T cell proliferation

TNF possess many of the same activity as IL-1. TNF differs from IL-1 in that TNF are not able to stimulate T cell proliferation and IL-1 has only limited ability to lysis tumor cells. TNF- alpha secreted by macrophages when estimulated by antigen.TNF- alpha is associated with production of hemorragic necrosis tumors. --TNF Betha is produce by T cells and B cells. TNF betha is responsible for killing tumor cells and virally infected cells. --Interferon Betha inhibits synthesis of viral protein by triggering the host cell to produce a second protein that interferes with the viral protein synthesis, Interferon Betha is primarily secreted by fibroblast and epithelial cells and enhances MHC class 1 expresion. TGF- betha inhibits T and B cell proliferation. TGF-betha is chemotactic for monocytes and induces secretion of inflammatory mediators.
