I passed Step1 too with a good score (99).
I need a visa and if your score is below 95, you can not get any visa.Even J1 is difficult.
My friend has 93/92 and didnt get any visa. It used to be better but now, NO way!!!!
Will start study for Step 2, aiming at 99 too.
Just pursued My Step 2 Kaplan Books and Crush Step2.
What is your score?

anyho the visa thing is kinda subjective cause ive friends who got less than that just received a H1 offfer a week ago. i think he took it. decent community affiliated univesity program in NY. i guess its the whole package.

But like I said,its impossible to get a visa.
Unless you have a score more than 95 on both steps.

To draso.
Now, theres no program which sponcers any kind of visa
unless your score is above 95 in both steps.
So it is better for you to find a place where you are.

Hi, tocket, when are you thinking to take Step 2 and where, do you have some study plan, what are you source books and what are you studing (IM;GYN etc)?. I have began to prepare for step 2, i have already Step 1 (90) and I´ll prepare to 99 for step 2. From which part of Austria are you.

I use Kaplan books for step2, Crash step2. Q Bank and more.

Hi, tocket thank for your reply. I have kaplan lectures Notes 2005-06 now + videos and I have, I think enough material, that could I never read all of them, for this moment I´m only watching the videos and reading Kaplan Qbank bc i want to improve me listening, i´m thinking to take CS before CK. Do you have some schedule to go throug this praparation? we could practice Qs (through chat) or go through some specific thema, i don´t know, let me know, it is better when you have somebody to practice and study. When are you thinking to take the exam and where?

Dear draso,
I have Kaplan notes 2005 too. But no videos. I have Crush step 2, and Q Bank, but not Kaplan Q bank, there is a Q bank better than Kaplan. It is a good idea to practice Q together. my E-mail adress is tocketmd@yahoo.com.
I will take Step 2 CK first. Then cs.
