How many months before the exam do you think one should've finished reading all the books and started with the q banks? Please advise. Also, are the sample questions provided on the official usmle website a true reflection of the question standards, or are the questions generally much tougher? I haven't spoken to many people who've appeared in the exam and still find myself very much in the dark. How many hours a day did y'all study, when you were reading the books?

hi i am about to start my step2 CK prep.As far as i know from my frds who have taken the exam, it all depends on the way of studying. I guess first a targeted thorough read is reqd, then questions with revisions.Time devotion depends on when you intend to take exam. Good luck

Regarding the standard of questions in the USMLE samples I've heard that they very accurately represent the actual standard of the examination and apparantly some candidates have got almost identical questions!!! By the way when are you planning on sitting your exam?
