guys , exactly 29 days more for my exam,those who have finished their exams please give ur last minute advice which can be really helpful for people like me.........

Don't let your self to put into new material, thats one thing, do NBME see your week areas and improve it. Don't neglect your strong subjects, give less time to those but don't leave them completely. try to revise q book, and q bank(IF YOU CAN).
FIRST AID, good for rapid revision.

Hi Karusmle, I am also at exactly 29 days, frightening isnīt it? From previous exam takers, I would advice to do Qbank and First aid. I am also doing Goljan 100 pages. A friend just did step 1, and he told me all the questions he could remember, and amazingly all of them were explained in Goljan notes! I couldnīt believe it!
I donīt think I will be doing NBME, thatīs too much stress for me!
Rememeber, that you will never feel "ready" for the exam, and you can NEVER know everything!

Hi, Shakeels,
How do you know your weakness by doing NBME? Will NBME show the "analysis of your performance" as shown in the Q bank? Or you just feel you were unable to answer some Qs? Because I heard there is NO answer or Explanation for NBME. Is it a good idea to take short notes while doing NBME?

NBME will tell you exactly as you will recieve your usmle score report. They will tell you your weak areas and strong areas, and what is your correlation in your real exam.

its very hard for me to take short notes in the middle of the test, i know that it will decrease my score and I will get tense, but do what ever makes you feel good.

Hi guys...I have only 23 days left ...and I am freaking out...I am doing my Q-book +Q bank(revision) and FA revision (I did addition previously from Q bank) ..wana do NBME on 1st dec..but this schedule take more time..I also read explanations ...but good thing is my score improves..Is that good to do all this. I have to finish my revision before giving NBMe ..but seems not possible...what should I do...please help ...really tense and freaking out

18 more days for me!!!Reviewing notes I took down from Qbank.Plan to do another round of Qbook and Goljan notes before my test.Plus memorize FA.Gunna do NBME 2 a week before my exam...Good luck to all of us!We can do it!

Could I ask you someting, what if you guys do NMBE, letīs say 1 or 2 weeks before the exam, and get a mediocre score? Would you delay step 1 date? or just double your study schedule and do step 1 anyway?

well dr tsuka it depends some ppl are just not tat confident and when they see tat they are nt getting the score in nmbe they just delay their date for a week or so and try to over com their week areas
well pal u gato count on ur self dont think wat others are doin it might be tat wat others are doin u might not feel comfortable with tat
try to analyse ur self and see if ur prepared if u think tat ur prepared no need to delay just take it n well abt nmbe
well pal mostly ppl do it at last just to check hwo mcuh they are prepared but once again its not a hard and fast rule to take it if ur not confident dont burden ur self just do as much qs u can to find ur weakness
in the end best of luck to all of u ppl may allah help u all in ur examsu ppl are giving the exam and we are the comin ones so may allah help us all in our goal

Dis you or do you know anybody have qs like NBME in real exam? I am wondering the advantage by taking note while doing NBME. 
I heard some people have same Qs in the Exam as in the USMLE CD.

hi guys,
seems like there r so many in the same boat as mine ,well yersterday i relaxed for 5 hours and now i feel fresh and confident ,another 28 days for me to go and i m gonna concentrate on my weak areas were i m not confident in ,and then planning for first aid second time and then doing my last quick revision of kaplan notes and goljan!!!!i m planning for my nbme this weekend and knowing that i can rush thro rest of the three weeks ........

Well Aonty pal Iīm just asking people what they would do if they donīt score high on NBME. Iīm not in any case trying to persuade them not to take NBME.
Iīm not confinent enough to say, I donīt need NBME! I seriously think if anybody tells you that, he or she is lying!
I prefer spending my last month on FA, Qbank, and Goljan notes.

just wonna say, that before my exam last year(like 2 days)i got Goljan 100p. notes, so I was just look through very brief, but i got a lot of Q from this notes. this time I'm studying them well...
