Ill answer the infintile form. (incubation is 12 to 48hrs)
Ach is blocked at neuromuscular junction due to ingestion of C. Botulisism spores from the soil, dust or honey or canned foods.
Sx -Sudden onset of constipation ,loss of head control ,lethargy, faccidity, symmetric desending weakness, Respiratory paralysis!, death
Tx- Supportive care Antitoxin ,Antibiotics and Guanidine Hydrochloride are NOT used in infintile form.

4Ds in adult Diplopia, Dysphagia,Dysarthria,Death

No way your teaching me a lot--Im not worthy of that. Im small in this scheme.
But the first thing you think of when you hear the word botulism (adult or infintile) is a neurotoxin that blocks the release of Ach at the neuromuscular junction causing flaccid paralysis. In the adult preformed toxin is ingested, in the infant toxin is produced in the gut.
