Hi
We are starting a q based study on the most similar qs to usmle (ecfmg)exam ,NBME qs
Questions date:The most recent NBME QS(national medical board for usmle Qs),2005
Method: we practice on 50 qs and then find the answers on sat /monday/wednesdays
next day we discuss the answersin the group .with each other
As NBME QS doesn't have the answers and we need to search in books .our method would be each of us searches for a determind number of qs in the reference books , so we would save more time and learn the questions better.
To discuss the answers we mention what is the correct answer , what reference, chapter and page
example:
correct answer is A/lect kaplan/chapt 5 /ags&immunogens/page337
then we discuss in short sentences why the answer is correct .
References for search : kaplan review series , first aid , kaplan lecture notes . in rare cases we could find the answers if they are not in the main mentioned references in the other ref introduced in the end of first aid .
Score comparison:In the end of our report we would have 5 minutes to calculate our scores
f irst how many correct answers second how many % correct.
Time  iscussions on answers are on Sundays/tuesdays/Thursdays (9 to 10 pm mountain time, Texas )
