dear guys!
please advice me what shhould i do? i failed step1 on my first attempt by 2 points.
im so depressed.ive been checking out for residencies and it says that in most of the hospitalls icant even apply if ive passed on second attempt. is that true? i cant get residency in internal medicine if ive passed step1 in second attempt?
please help me!

Yes you can, please dont despair! Just think of this not as a failure, but as an opportunity to get a decent score next time. I went through this, and many people told me that its better to have higher grades than just a 75 that you can never again change. So this is now a challenge and a opportunity to do better. Learn from your mistakes, and rise to the challenge! You can soooo do this! This test is doable, we just have to believe and commit!!! Best of lucks!

attempts doesn,t matter for resedency,scores and year of graduation matters(old graguade face some difficulty).dont despair.u failed by just 2 points.inshallah next time u will pass.now analyse what was missing previous time and learn from from urs mistakes and try urs best next time and believ in urs self and believ in Allah.this time u should try for high score.how ever if u just want to pass i have some secrets to tell u my email is fayyaz911@hotmail.com.As a muslim brother i wanna help u

Dear taabeer,
GMOB & fakhan are so right , i have been through the same thing and now im studing all over again , the first time that i wrote the exam i was goin through a very tought time and i just couldnt pass i knew that for sure but i still went and sat for the exam ........... and now that i have one yr old as well things r not any easy either , but im still tryin , this is wat i have learned never ever give up and allah will make the right place for u in the competetive world.
so keep tryin and e mail u me if u feel like talkin to some one , GOOD LUCK

hey pal life is full of suprises some times u hav it ur way some times u dont but it doesnt mean tat u loose ur hope
these small failures teach us a lesson to work harder
there is always a second time so dont give up
i know its really depressing so just cool ur self take a day off and then start again im sure u still hav the stuff in the back of ur mind so wont take u long to prepare

website is there for mathing and resedensies for years 2006 and 2007.the website is (https://host35 9.ipowerweb.com/~matchare/main.php).just tells to the website about urs imiginary score(first start from minimum score and then increase urs imiginary score)and tells them whether u r IMGs or US card holde4r in a form.website will tell u all the possible resedencies in all specialities in seconds

sorry,it is not working ,i think that valuemd.com has provided some security to thier website.so firstly join (valueMD.com) there in valuemd website click (usmle) on upper right corner of the page and then after that click (IMG Resedency lists 2006) which is just on middle of page.GL
