Hi guys anybody taking exam in the end of december? pls advice how to go abt it, I am getting a 67 cumulative on the qbank is it ok?

Hey usmledoc1,
I am scoring the same as you are (67 cumulative on Q Bank) and I am taking the exam in the 3rd week of december. Someone on this forum told me that it's not a bad score provided we don't let our morals sag down and do the best in these last few weeks. Stay cool and do your best ! I just finished the Q bank and will be spending the rst of timein reviewing what I have studied till now. have you taken/plan to take the NBME ?

guys , even i m done with Q bank and doing my Q book , scoring 82%(just finished with patho in Q book) in Q book,giving my exam in december 3 rd week, i m in the middle of my third reading and will be completing it by 25 th of november and planning to do my first aid , thought of doing my fourth reading , but i dont have time for it, anyway i m planning to concentrate on those things were i m weak and work out questions in that alone(like BSS)i dont know whether i m going on the right track,any suggestions for me to improve my study strategy????

That's a pretty impressive score on the Q Bank karusmle. I am swept away !!!! How did you score on the Q bank and did you had a chance to review the Q? Any plans to take the NBME? How long have you been preparing for the exam? Going by the posts seems you have been pretty active on this forum. Best of luck!

Guys, which qs do you find harder:Qbank or Qbook? I am doing Qbook now, find qs pretty hard, but not that overwhelming. Do you recommend to do qbank for LEARNING or SELF-ASSESSMENT??? THANKS

How long did it take u to finish Q-bank? I still have 1000q's to go.
Yeah will take NBME but dont know when.
Hey Karu, did u do ur first aid b4? so u got an 82 on the Qbank? vow thats gr8, wat material did u use to study?

hi usmledoc1,
I haven't yet finished the Q Bank. Still have about 700 q left. Yeah ! I too want to take the NBME but don't know if I would have time for that! I want to finish the review of few things I am very weak in like biostats and molecular biology. Once I feel have a grip over these then I will finish the rest of the questions on the Q Bank. Let me know if you take the NBME. Good luck!

I am also weak in biostats, but ppl say to solve the q's in the BRS, if u have that bookm we can may b do it together every day for an hr.

hey guys , i got 82% in Q book not in Q bank ,that too i m done only with pathology,i find Q book to be easier than the online Q bank,i took one month of online Q bank , i have done one reading in first aid,i finished the Q bank and had time to do all the wrong questions(except for genetics ,immunology,anatomy and micro)in Q bank,i think this helped me alot ......i dont know how i m gonna do rest of the subjects in Q book,but i feel i m weak in pharma sums,i.e in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (as i have not memorised the formulas) and biostatistics,molecular biology and immunology and genetics,i m not very confident abt physio(but still i m ok with it), can i skip my fourth reading and plan for reviewing the weaker subjects in BSS???like just answering the questions without reviewing the answers ,(reviewing the answers only for those which i got wrong)is that ok??????and do my first aid again and again , got 4 weeks for my exam........

sorry I don't have BRS and with the time left for my exam I don't think I will be able to go through it even I buy it at this time. So guess have to do with whatever I have read!

i scored 82% in the first 2 blocks in Qbook and the next block i got 70% and 72%, i think i was quite over confident when i was doing these blocks , this is the biggest problem with me , i need constant reinforcent by being little bit low,anyway i will try and work hard for this last month as much as i can,all the best for u guys

hello every1 , i am also in the same boat as all of u are...i started my 3rd read, also doing FA first time and Q book along with it...still i m on the 1st subject i.e anatomy..anyway,,, here is my ques, ..which subjects should i read first?? i mean which subjects r more forgetting , so i do them towards the end? or shall i do high yield stuff towards the end?
i find patho and anatomy retainable , cant retain biochem, pharma,biostat, physio for long time...so shall i do patho well b4 or towards the end (it is the most high yield subject innit?)
