Can anyone help me and answer me on one question? How many days before an interview do the hospitals send invitation letters. I am a foreign graduate and I live on the other side of the world. December is coming and I don't have a clue what to do - to come to the USA or to stay and to wait for the invitations. Do they invite us (if they invite us at all) on interview 2-3 days before the interview or that period is longer (like a week or two). If they give us an invitation for at least a week prior to the interview then it's much cheaper for me to stay where I am and come upon an invitation. Does anyone know anything about this???

Call them up and find out the status of your application.Ideally they should give you a wide range of options when it comes to interview dates so that you can plan your trip well in advance but I have had some bad experiences with a program coorinator in NJ .She just wouldn't answer any of my queries nor give me the possible interview dates,nor the time to decide a date.I think you'll have a months time to plan your travel -jedi
