I've just passed PLABs and appling for jobs in UK for the moment.The problem is that due to family problems I might be forced to move to US.Could somebody to tell me how are STEPs compared to PLAB?
And very clear what books,CDs you need?

Hi !
what i think is that if you have passed pleb then it will be easier for you to pass usmle but the books which most of the people use & recommend are First Aid for step 1 & kaplan lecture notes for all subjects & brs series for phsiology & pathology&high yield for b.science .
i think you should also visit in this forum the site suggesting books& cds, it will help you a lot.

i would suggest that u take the step2 first , as u have already taken the PLAB and the subjects are the same in two.

I have passed USMLE Step 1 and in Marz I'd like to take PLAB. Please could you tell me how you have studied to Plab, whitch books have you used. Could you please tell me if it is true that the topics for PLab are always the same but the questions are different????
I may advice you more about USMLE if you wish. I study parallel for Step 2 and I read only USMLE books. Do you thinh is it OK for PLAB too.??? Do you have any tips for PLAB???? Whitch subjects are the most important?????
