HI im doin my internship right now which is ending in december ....im doin prep 4 step 1 since last 3 months n plan to give it in march 2006 with step 2 around august.....many people on this forum have adviced on having ecfmg certification and having ur step3 score before applyin to the universities.....your chances of gettin a interview increase with thse things....so i need advice whether to go ahead for the 2007 match or give al three steps and apply for 2008 match.......i had planned csa for september end 2006 and step 3 after that....wat should i do.........REALLY CONFUSED......the prospect of waitin for one more year is really daunting...but i guess so mant ppl do it so wudnt matter much anyway....guys pls...pls...help!!!!!!

Prader Willi, I think its true that having your step3 increases your chances of getting in, but you can do it without it as well, I would shoot for 2007 and if it dosent work, then for 2008.

prader , i agree with mx.... i think its too early to think for 2008... try n make it for 2007..why wait? press on the gas hard... n incase u can steal in amonth some whewre from ur time table ... nothing like it... u'll be well ready for 2007... all the best..

Prader willi, you dont have to be scared. i think you have a good plan for 2007. my advice.
study for step1 and give it as soon as you feel prepared( aprox 6 months)
for step2 CK you wont need more than 2 or 3 months, because it is easier.
step2 cs 1 month after ck
take step3 before applying or while applying. you will be ok
good luck.
you have to follow your plan and study hard. i am sure you will get it
