I've seen/answered several q's on the forum about renal failure in end stage cirrhotic dz and I think I'm missing the boat on indications for hemodialysis vs liver transplantn. Options were worded most appropriate both times and is it just situational ore there LFTs/BUN creat levels that are cut offs?
I'm hoping someone can outline some guidelines to follow... perhaps my thinking is set on indications a few years ago and things have changed.
