I know there are some topics over the forum about it but i donīt know yet which ones are the most recommendable. I have heard about strong medicine, swanson, crush, washington manual, UW, kaplan and the books you used for step 2CK, so they are too many. And also, how much time 2-3 months ?? Please advise me about it here or by a PM. I think itīs not a good idea to have them all. Iīm starting with the preparation for this new test and iīm a bit lost here. Thank you in advance .

thank you for your suggestion njccmd2002 ! do you mean, you will read again your textbooks for step 2CK of blueprints (i have them, by the way) ? About swanson: yes, itīs about family practice, i donīt want to buy it, exactly for that reason. I know the step 3 is like if you were in a 1st level hospital or you were a general physician, but anyway thatīs only family practice. I have just bought Crush step 3. Iīm thinking which more. any other advice is welcome !

Chemamr Yes im planning on reading them again. (if i can make time ) i do have a question. if you were to decide between nms and kaplan, which one? So far this is my list: -First aid Step 3 ( I'm traditionalist and cannot let go of First Aid Series ) -My blueprints for Step 2 ck(for reference) -Blueprints for CCS (I have no idea how to use that software) - Strong Medicine ( I like the amazon reviews) - Undecided between Kaplan and NMS (what will you recommend) I guess this is long list per se but i have 86 / 81 / Passed, and i want to score 90. I want to do this ASAP just in case i match, i dont have to deal with it later. If not it will help me with the application. Im thinking around march...

Now iīm thinking in march or mid/late february to do it. Arenīt you going to do any Qbank like UW or kaplan?? Because if youīll do kaplan qbank, there is no reason to do also the kaplan qbook in my personal opinion. About NMS or kaplan: not sure really. My only opinion about it is that i bought NMS for step 1 and I hated it, i didnīt like it, but i donīt know about the one for step 3.

I think you are awake. Yes, i read in some other topic they recommended this for treatment, plus is pocket size, you can take it to a boring party, or to the park. you can each topic in les tha an hour. Yeah, i know its too much, but anyway if I match, i dont have to buy it again. I think i will go with nms, just because it brings a cd rom.

Chemamr, I just started out with the step 3. I really dont know too, where to start. But I just bought the crush step3 and will start out with it. From the reviews I read, I feel we will have to do washington manual and swansons, will need kaplan step3. Probably these should suffice. What have you started with?

The same, I have started with Crush step 3, iīm in page 24 now. I only have this source. Iīm not sure about Swanson. Donīt you think is enough with Washington manual, only? and donīt buy Swanson? And is it kaplan better than UW?? We are in the same position now.

can you give me opinion about crush? Swanson, unless you buy the newest edition. I have read a lot of bad reviews from amazon for 2001 edition
