It is interesting but i feel the formula is based on high scores so it's accuracy and/or precision is off. According to the forumula i should be getting 213. (UW avg 54%- half done.) yet i took 2 nbmes recently and got 310 and 320. that is somewhere around the 160s on the real exam. i feel the formula is skewed towards those scoring 99. those who score less dont post the scores.

another formula i heard was:

UW avg + 28-35 = 2 digit score

but i feel nbme is more accurate and as a general rule u should score 60% on the UW to take the exam. ideally to be 100% safe u should get 65%.

You are right
NBME is more accurate
