Hi everyone,
I have applied for 2004 match and received 7 calls so far. 4 from Internal Med and 3 from Family Practice.
I myself am quite keen for family practice but not so sure about it's scope. I have some queries and would be grateful if they could be cleared up:
Can one do a fellowship after FP and in what field? Does it have sub- specialities like IM has?
Supposing I want to change my field after a year of PGME, then will a year of FP be considered equivalent to a year of IM ?
