I am a medical student in the last year of my studies.I want to ask you people about the importance of centre preparation.I read many posts.Most of them they say they studies for about five to sex months but haven't studied if they took a web preparation or a centre preparation course for USMLE.
I heard there are lots of coaching institutes in India,but have no idea about their importance for scoring high in USMLE.
Please tell me which is better.
1.centre preparation for usmle.
2.web preparation for usmle
3.study at home .
I am confused about what to do further so pls tell me who already have faced this problem.
I will be grateful for the answer.

I took center prep and was thinking that i be prepare soon but i wasn't as self study only help. My advice is u should take kaplan books and buy online videos or dvds and preparethru them don't spend so much money on it. I think the thing which help u most is self study but choose a good source[ like kaplan step 1 lecture notes are more than enough] and u will do good.
