a) you ask for a written statement from his wife

b) It will be very difficult to treat depression and dementia

c) As this old man has dementia he will be unable to understand his situation.

d) Search for ethical point of view whether to disclose or not.

b.........nothing else makes sense, u have to tell the pt. and dementia doesn't make him any less competent
