hai an, just now i saw about the 2nd messengers in brs physiology.in that 2 pages information is there. and please tell me who is the author for high yield mol.biology book which u have.because the book which i saw in ebay author is ronald w.dudek.so if the same author means i will buy that. and one more thing, for physiology should i book separete q-bank only for physiology? will it help? or only the normal q-bank is enough for physiology?

rapport, i didnt use high-yield in molecular bio ..i didnt use physio qbank...found that the general q bank had good physio qu...

hello an congratulations for gettin the best possibl e score. now that its over for u, ca u guess how may questions we need to get right to get a score like u'rs or a score over 90. i know it'll be a guess... but i stil l would like to know what u think.

hi,an 2001 grad is not old.which country are you from.i plan to give exam in april-may.is five months sufficient time?me too 2002 grad.but i am a post grad in internal med in my country.can i still go in for 4 revisions in 5 months?

well..it depends how many calls u have in a week and how much of ur free time u can give to step 1 studies..i finished my md in 2004, so during my prep i didnt have any other worries...i studied 4-5 hrs a day on an average. I know of people who answered the mle during their md, so i know it can be done..good luck. let me know if i can help in any other way.

hi,an i can try to squeeze in 5 hrs a day and more on week end.i plan to give step-1 in may next year.i will be done with my md by dec 2006,by then i want to clear all my steps.any idea by when both step scores have to be ready to apply.taking step-2 in oct will it affect the no of interviews? one good reading for step-1 takes how long?simultaneously can i solve q bank too?how many times does one need to revise?thanx.

all those things vary from person to person..my suggestion is to do a solid 1st reading of all step1 subjects, from kaplan LN no matter how long it takes. then start solving questions..u can start with q book...and then go on to q bank. Then do a second read...maybe u can do the nbme/kaplan simualted test and see where u stand after that...if u score well-take the board test..or else do a third reading. my first reading took me about 5 weeks , subsequent readings 3-4 weeks.
