UW is not randomized properly. In the beginning all the subjects, regardless of importance are EQUALLY represented. I have done about 1/4 of UW and have been given more biostat questions so far than OBG. And then what will happen in the end is that there will be no Biostat questions left and I assume only obg and peds questions. I think a good idea is to deselect all the subjects with less than 100 questions every other or every third test when creating a test. that way it is more even and your UW score correlation will be more valid.

i emailed UW about this and they said they are aware of it. here is what they said:

"Thank+you+for+contacting+us.+We+are+aware+of+this+problem+and+will+b e+fixing+it+in+2006+Qbank+software+release,+which+is+under+development+at+t his+time.+The+new+software+will+also+have+the+option+to+mark+questions+duri ng+review+for+later+review,+searching+topics,+dynamic+score+sheet+comparing +other+qbank+users.+Feel+free+to+contact+us+if+you+have+any+questions.+Than k+you"

sorry my cut and paste doesnt work. i hope they fix this problem. they have the same problem in the step 1 kaplan qbank. with all the questions they give about biostats they cant get their own stats right and evenly disperse the questions by subject.

in the meanwhile my fix above should even things out more. with this fix dont analyze score by individual test but take the avg of 2 or 3 tests and compare them.
