guys can ull tell the difference between taussing bing malformation corrected transposition of great arteries uncorrected transposition of great arteries this is a Q from Q bank ,confussing with morphologic side of the heart,can anybody explain what this morphologic side of heart means ......

Let me try. Uncorrected is the one you know about. Aorta goes to right vent and pulmonary from left bent, without another shunt its incompatible with life. Corrected one is like this that not only does that aorta and pul a have shifted but so has ventricles ,so aorta takes origin on the right from what is basically left ventricle (though its not correct to say it is left) ; lets say heart tried to correct the transposition. Taussing bing is simply Transposition + Fallots tetralogy ie, Aorta is taking origin from right ventricle but is narrowed and Pulmonary ar is now overriding the septum from left. (i think i am right ,am I)

in Goljan book he says corrected transposition (atria are transposed ) is pulmonary veins emptying in the right atrium and and unoxygenated blood emptied into the left atrium...could anyone pls explain? thank you
