help!!!!!

i finished 1/4 of UW and am getting 54%. I took NBME 2day and got 310. i ran out of time and had more of a time prob than UW. anyways my exam is in 12 days and i dont know what to do. i cant postpone since i applied to this match. help!!!!!!!!!

btw i got 209/85 on step 1 and i scored 430 and 450 on those nbmes.

I've been reading here that unless u score 400 on the nbme - better not to do it. In the end its your gut feeling and decision though!

i know. i have told others b4 in the same shoes the same thing. but the thing is if i postpone the earliest i will get my step 2 score is in mid january since i have to take the CS. i have already applied for this match and got 2 interviews so far. to get more i need to get my score in. well i will NBME form 2 in 2 or 3 days and see. if i dont get 380 atleast i will postpone it. thanks for the advice.

also i dont get the discrepency b/w the UW and NBME scores. also on the nbme i took 2day my timing was off and i bombed the obg. i plan on redoing obg for the next nbme.

Study bet 10-12 days hrs. more each day!! You can do it!!!

Well, if you can't postpone, just study as hard as you can and take the NBME form 2 in a few days. But I would recommend postponing unless you get at least one passing score on the NBME self assessments. I thought form 1 was harder than form 2, so maybe you'll feel better when you see your form 2 score.

i got 76% on the usmle cd. i will take the nbme in a day or two.

Yes, every one here are right. You can improve it with in 6 or 7 weeks to go beyond 400 from the date of your last NBME 320. WORK HARD AS MUCH AS YOU CAN, but don't burn your self, take a break whenever you are feeling saturated, like one day in a week or 10 days. YOU WILL BE FINE. I hope it will work. dude, i got the same damn score on my NBME form 2. And i have the exam date in 12 days, and an interview at the end of the month. Same boat i guess. So what should i do? postpone to feb?I am just pushing as hard as i can and ill take the nbme form 3 a couple days before the exam! seriously what are the odds of doing well?

i retook it and got 390. not the best score but passing. i need to work on my timing a little. anyhow i will take the exam in 6 days.

i am 90% finished with UW so since my last score of 320 i have done more than half of UW and i have done the internal med kaplan lectures. uw will improve ur score and it was foolish to even think of taking the exam with out it.

Good Job SGA, sounds like your improving, i am currently doing the usmle world bank and kaplan books. Hope in 10 days i get to the passing level,
