Proper treatment of frostbite consists of

1. debridement of the affected part followed by silver sulfadiazine dressings

2. corticosteroids

3. vasodilators

4. immersion of affected part in water at 40-44 C

5. rewarming of affected part at room temp

I am not sure but the initial treatment is warming the part to regain blood flow and salvage as much tissue as possible
followed by debridement of the affected part followed by silver sulfadiazine dressings

I think the answer is 5.

Correct answer is 4. It is the most effective method. Further treatment may include elevation to minimise edema, antibiotics , tetanus toxoid , and debridement of necrotic skin.
