Dear bbb, Due to my strong recommendation letters, I have been invited for a personal interview with program director since the regular interview slots were all filled up. I did my 3 months of observership at the same place. Now I am wondering if this half an hour interview will serve the same purpose as the regular half a day interview. What can i expect and what will they be looking for in this short time? Please guide. Thanks.

We've done that in the past with persons familiar with the program and hospital. You can expect an interview - who knows what they will be looking for.

since u already know abt hospitals as u worked there for a while. so the faculty thinks u dont need a hospital tour anyways. so its like a full interview. even in regular interview a candidate hardly spend this much time with the director. gl
