Hi guys,i hope that all of u are doing fine. i was just wondering if knowing the first aid really well is could garentee u a good score, i am kinda confused, since based on my preparation i am doing well in the Qs,hoevwr i hear here and there that first aid should be supplemented with other material, not to mention that many people also mentioned that first aid is the bible and if u know ur first aid very well then thats all what u need to score high in additionn to doing Qbank. Could you please clarify that for me especially those who r familiar with first aid and allready took the exam. Thank u alot

well....this is my personal opinion know ur FA well....but thts should not be the only thing u knw....i mean FA is real nice to revise the basics in the last week b4 exam...coz u cant revise everything close to exam....but do revise whtever books u hv studied ( eg kaplan course) in the previous 2 weeks (i.e 3 weeks-1 week b4 exam) n then do FA in the last week hope this helps

I'm thinking of keeping FA as the prime source & adding stuff from kaplan to it. I was amazed how much stuff FA has packed in those few pages. the problem is these are HY but disconnected topics...I want to keep the notes I study in the last 2 weeks to a bare minimum & the key I think would be FA with brief notes from kaplan...

FA is EXCELLENT,MUST HAVE......But then again, shud not be primary source, for obvious reasons..I agree with above...it shud be studies in last 2-3 weeks....but make sure u make additions in it according to ur understanding what u feel is deficient.... ALL THE BEST.... Take care. Saira.

well FA no doubt is the bible of step 1 its really amazing the way they have filled up so much knowledge is just a few pages amazing well i would be more comfortable if u just go through with FA while in ur start along with kaplan in this way u will get used to FA becose as it is a coincised book u will hav to get used to it in order to memorise it keep in touch with FA while ur at ur second read and then make it a source of all he subjects during ur last week
