in one note, it says "machinery oil like fluid: craniopharngioma". could anybody explain more for me? what is machinery oil like fluid? which part of body can it be seen? is it in the tumor itself? thanks a lot.

I thank to God that we dont require a machinery oil for proper lubrication. Just imagine if we required a regular oil change and service for our body.......

I think its enough to know that craniopharyngioma is associated with machinery oil like fluid...........

In craniopharyngioma, macroscopically the tumour my be cystic, solid or, often, a mixture, and there is often focal calcification (produced by chronic reaction to leaking cyst contents). The cysts contain glittering, turbid, brownish-yellow fluid that is said to resemble machine oil.
