I know I will be working hard again after a day off from my TOUGH step 1 exam. i will be needing more courage in my step 2 preparation. I choose to start as early & as fast as possible because I don't have a choice. I will be preparing for this exam in a short but diligent span of time. My journal in step 1 helped me a lot w/ my progress & eased my anxiety toward the end of my review & gained lots of forum friends who have been so helpful in times of stress. We all go through the same level of stress in this test prep'n & I am thankful for this site. It has helped me a lot primarily in choosing the right books to read by reading at the exam experiences of those people who already passed. My stress would be doubled as I would be preparing for my CK & same time waiting for my step 1 result. but I would rather study now
than just thinking about how I did w/ my other test. I thank GOD for this opportunity to succeed more in life with my education. I thank GOD for helping me always & showing me that I am a very lucky person. I thank GOD for my family, my friends( known for years & unknown friends fr this site) and above all I thank GOD for my LIFE!
Getting my resources is not that hard since I just inherited my review materials from my sister & brother in-law. She will be doing her residency soon & my bro-in law is an Attending in Anesthesia so I'm happy for their help & constant support.

Hey Kerochi! Well you made it here....and that is the most important thing. I am postive you will do jus fine with ur Step 1 score. So stop worrying about that. I think you need to take a little time off, may be a week to do all the wonderful things you promised yourself during step 1 prep. Go take a walk, do some gardening, read a book, watch a movie, go shopping....indulge and enjoy. You deserve it. If you don't reward yourself it is hard to motivate yourself again.
Looks like you have the Step 2 books ready. Yo are all set my friend. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Kicked off review today by doing 23 pages of FA, 10 pages of Boards & Wards!! Started doing some q's too fr Qbook.
Will try to start & finish Cardio , FA & Kaplan notes tomorrow.

Got up early today to do 46Q's from UW. Been doing mixed q's. Since I only have limited time to study/ grill this exam.. i decided to do a lot of q's then read FA & B&W & just look at other sources for guidance. My aim is to do 3-4 blocks plus explanations per day. I read B&W yest.
& only finished 2 blocks of UW. Well today is wkend, trying to do q's again then watch a movie w/ family & church at 5PM then hit the computer again tonight. My system is all COFFEE now & makingme constipated.... w/ information ( heh--heh--heh) Just a joke.

Qbook's kind of hard for me so I'm doing UW. Don't want to be overconfident nor demoralized w/ results yet. Too early to tell... I'm still working hard ...

Finished 2 blocks of UW this am. got 61%. A good start today. I hope to be motivated like this these whole week. I am writing the q's I got wrong for revision later on in case i run out of time to do the whole qbank.

still working on UW.. quite confused w/ ophthalmology so needs more readings on that.
how's everyi doing? i hope we're all as motivated as always. got a coffee withdrawal headache... can't believe I ran out of coffee. believe me coffee relieved my ha not tylenol.

Scored 54% in my last uW block... scary... i have been taking notes also for easier memorization later.. Got to read well... Finished w/ IM in Boards & wards & almost done w/ Surgery as well. Been reading my Kaplan notes also for salient points. Gosh i don't know what's going on at night when 9pm comes i am sooo sleepy.. coffee's not helping anymore.
Any suggestion to stay awake guys??? I don't want to waste time.. pls help. any suggestion's welcome. thanks..

Spent time reading Boards & Wards last night. Finished w/ IM, Surgery also in FA. Did resp. questions ,tried to differentiate Churg Straus Syndrome, Job syndrome, allergic resp. dses. whc are absolutely confusing. I finished another block in UW also. It's almost 8am.. got to prepare breakfast for kids , will just stay home for Thanksgiving, no guests whc is good ,a rest day for the family except me. Got to finish UW before the end of the month.

Done reading FA & BW OB GYN. Also read Kaplan antipschotic meds & adverse effects for clarity. Did 100UW q's plus explanations too.
A hard month to study bec of Christmas prep'n plus kids activities at school, feels tired at night. I had 2 Red Bull last night to keep me awake.
I'm motivated to nail this exam. I won't keep on rescheduling my test anymore. Full time review then take the test!! So Help me Lord... again.

A very productive morning for me. Did 100Q's plus explanations. An unusual state for me , no interruptions except for one call. Will do another 100 q's(UW) after kids p/u & tonight.

HELLO,, KEROCHI NICE TO KNOW U ARE DOING FAST PREP FR STEP2 with full enthusiasm?? hope u enjoying ur days with relief from step1.
my step1 is in mid jan,, So its the toughest month of my prep going.. .anyways oneday it will be over..
how many months u will take fr step 2 prep? are u in hurry?

GL on your test in Jan. Yes I'm running out of time. My step 2 eligibility is expiring soon. that's why I studied right after my step 1 exam. i hope to do all my readings fr Boards & Wards, FA & UW soon. So whatever it takes I will take my exam & enjoy the rest of the Holidays. My family's sacrificing also. Wish me more luck again.

Kero, good luck to you. I do hope that you get to finish the exams succesfully before the holidays. Give it your all, buddy! Your efforts will be rewarded.
I love the saying "trust in God, but lock your car". Just remain practical too, and make sure you are ready to get a good score in the exams before you take them!

Almost done w/ UW. Lots of distractions or should I say lots of things going on this Holiday season. Hope to finish my ist readings in all subjects by the 15th. A little more sacrifice & things will be alright. I keep on telling myself about that. REALITY is quite stressfull thinking about studying & having fun at the same time. Guilty about it all the time but can't avoid. Don't want to be spoiling my kids fun...Oh well.. Im not making any sense but hey i don't let a day pass without studying..
