What is the average age of 1st Y residents? Is the older age an embarrasing factor for the new residents?

it all depend.
in our program v r 4 pgy resident, age 45, 43, 42, and 38. whereas out of So not to worry about age, this is america. U Will B surprised what U can get here.

I think they start as early as 25 years old and then up. Any other input in this matter? smiling face

i Think the average age of US grads is around 28-29
12 years of school from 6yrss of age+ 4 yrs of premed+ 4yrs of med school
