hello
i have a question,may be its weird but i was curious....how do observerships help you to get residency...one reason is that you can get a LOR for USCE...what else...does a hospital where u are doing your observership prefer you for offering residency??

Lots of programs reject observships and look for either externships, or hands on clinical experience/ Of course US LOR helps.

yeah... I suppose that observerships are meant to get US LOR... but isn't there something else? I've beendoing an observership and the program director basically said its not really worth it, that its better to get into research... But i dont know if he's just testing me or what... what do you guys think?
