Hi all, I am a medical graduate from China. I am going to apply for step 1 exam. I have several questions and would like to get some feedback from all of you. 1. I'd like to know can I take the exam if I submitted copies of my diploma but it hadn't been verified by my medical school? (I'd like to apply for January 2006) 2. Do you guys also include transcripts with your initial submission? I know ECFMG booklet said you don't need to submitted medical school transcript at the initial application step. However, I'd like to know whether that will help the verification process since it could be very lengthy. Anybody have done that before? Any suggestions? experience? Thank you for your help!

1) yes, you can apply for step 1 even if your credentials havenīt been verified. In fact, usually lasts many months that verification. 2) You can submit it since now, why do you want to wait?.
