hi,
Currently the QBANK i have is on a cd which came with kaplan dvd lectures having 41 set of questions (50 question each).i am wondering should i buy the online QBANK too or is it all the same?
If i have to buy it, is there someone selling it on cd (so that i can get it cheap?) Checked on EBAY ...noone's there...ANybody?

dont know abt anyone selling the online exam... dont think it can be copied onto a cd... aint sure though... though u can share the online exam with someone ... that wud make it cheap....

Hi sarika,
Well the online q bank is always udpated and it has got pic and its timed + you can see your performance is increasing or not.
Bcz what we learn is little bit different, and q bank will tell you that where you are weak and you can fill up your gaps in B/W.
It will stimulate you to do lots of questions at one time, and thas how you will get the HEAT of USMLE.
In doing q bank you will learn which material to study and which you can skip.
e.g q bank sore will tell you, your physiology is weak and even which system is specifically. Or any other subjects like Pathology. So you can go their and read those topics and access your self that you are improving.
I have the CD but every one suggested me to do it online, and I will also suggest yoy to do it ONLNE.

yes sarika.....my advice is to do the qbank online...as it wil be updated...share it with someone that way it ll be cheaper....also do it timed mode to get a gud feel of the REAL EXAM...u can go over the answers at ur own pace and as many times as u want....also keep 1 reading of kaplan material after q bank that way u can concentrate on ur weaker areas....gud luck..all the best...

Hi Sarika!
Do it online for sure!
I failed last year step 1, i did q bank then, now i'm doing agaim, i have to say, that there are a lot of new Q, pic.,etc
I have on cd, but i don't like it at all.Online much more better.
