okay guys, I need some help fast, I have my exam on monday the 31st, I took my ck 2 weeks ago and then took the kaplan step 2 cs course, problem is from the day the class ended I had bacterial conjunctivitis of both eyes, I couldn't wear my contacts and have no glasses and I am almost blind without them (-6.00 BL). So now I have today and tomm and maybe some of sunday to study(We'll have to drive on sunday to houston and reading in the car makes me sick)

what should I focus on , I think I'll practice the examinations on my husband but everytime I try to take a history he starts laughing or I do. What should I read. I feel like my entire life is on the balance(as well as a lot of money) as I already applied to so many programs!!!!Many of which are waiting for my cs results.

In the kaplan course I had no problem with the CIS portion or the English but I had some problem with the ICE, especially the notes, plus I never finished a single patient in time to do summary or counseling!!!!!

Should we take just a real short history and only ask Siqor AAA and Pam HR Foss

plus what is the HUGS i learned HR instead. Sorry if i seem crazy but I think I might experience a brief psychotic attack soon!!!

Take it easy. The HUGS stands for Hospitalization, urinary, GI, S??, I dont remember, but is the same thing, Its basically revision of systems. I didnt take the Kaplan course, but what I heard is that is more difficult than the real test and thats why It most have taken you longer. Just keep cool and do the basic SIQORAAA and PAMHRFOSS, and youll do fine.

hey, i just went over the common chief complaints and what i should ask for each and what are common diff diag, and workup yesterday. today i will try to look at some of the cases in the back of the kaplan book. I don't have someone to practice with so I guess the main thing is practice writing patient notes. so i have today left. lol, everyone was going on and on about the color of my eyes during the class, so I guess its "najar", but this is the first time I've had bacterial conjunctivitis in the US.
