hi guys ,
its so nice to get back to prep4usmle after a day of devasting calamity of floods in my place , there was no electricity and life was totally dead yersterday.felt frustrated that i couldnt do Q bank , i remember reading in the Q bank while filling up the application for it that they will extend the Q bank if there is any reasonable problem,i read in papers that there might be cyclone passing thro my place,i doubt we will have our electricity , i dont know wants gonna happen......is that i can call up kaplan guys and let them know abt it to extend my Q bank for a day or two,has anybody tried it out????

yes its possible, contact their technical service if you have any problem, you will not lose your score history.

well for the day or 2 they can, they are help full and if you will present your problem I'm sure they will extend it.

even if it is expired, its no problem to get the same q bank. I know they will save your history for about a year.

kar... do write to them + call them up .. thy will surely giv u an extension.. thy hav been troubled by similar such problems... n try to attach a link from rediff whre it states the situation in chennai., in ur e-mail to them.... i am sure thy will comply.... surely.... fikar not .... good luck.. do let us know what thy say...

I sure hope they'll help u....but I have reeally bad experience with them...I was sooooooooooooo diasappointed at their inhuman behaviour.......they just love to make money,with no consideration for others.... ...My grandpa who was very dear to me died...so I had to leave for pakistan..I called them up...requesting them like a begger.....that i won't be able to use my q-bank 9I had 2 weeks access left at that time)...so I begged the,plz put a hold/stop/break to my q-bank,as I know I'll be busy with guets & all...so I said put a stop on it for 6 weeks.....after 6 weeks,I'll be back in the U.S...then u can restart from where I left.....I will never forget the automatic impossible to convince person....she said it is computerized we cannot do anything...its impossible.....all I asked was not evenn simple extension...I begged em to put a stop...that way the over all time period will not be incrreased for my access.....but even then they didn't listen....Such an inhuman,machinized,ROBOTIC response...as if the computers run on their own,are not opearted by humans....I just hope they treat u better.....BEST OF LUCK !!!

Hi! This is my experience with Kaplan...I wanted to extend my 1 month subscription to 3 months and just pay the difference but the lady said they can only do that within 7 days of enrollment so I advise to those getting qbank to get the 3-month subscription bec its only a difference of $80 and its hard to do all the questions and read on the side.
