Does one out of the four LOR be a letter from the chair of the Dept???In my case i am an Img graduated 5 years back and I have no clue who the current HOD is and nor can I trace my old HOD(I doubt if he wouldl remember me even if I did find him!)The best possible thing I have got so far is a letter from the professor I worked with.Would this be enough??Please somebody help!I'm going crazy with all these! -jedi

Some program would mandate it. Other programs couldn't care.
